Acadia Micro is looking for a Boston-based software developer for the deployment of our shared renewables platform. Applicants should be prepared to develop and explore a novel and growing segment of the energy industry and can expect to collaborate with the founders and a small technical team as a critical driver of our success. The Software Developer will dive into all aspects of the development process (requirements gathering, back-end, front-end, testing, deployment), and we are looking for a candidate that shares our excitement for what we do.
Everything we build is SaaS based, and all of our software will be delivered through the browser (in mobile-friendly, Bootstrap-based pages). Our development process is rapid, iterative, agile and highly focused on delivering features and functionality to our customers that works within the highly regulated and evolving electricity industry. Applicants can expect an intimate environment with close communication and weekly scrums with our product manager.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Coding the requirements of regulations, operating protocols, data, and technical standards for our system.
